CURRICULUM: PRIMARY

At the primary level, RSR International School offers a broad and balanced curriculum with the objective of providing holistic education through a structured schooling program.

ü Curricular Objectives:

Academics at RSR International School has five key components:

1. Well Designed Curriculum:
        The school being affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi (CBSE) follows the curriculum defined by NCERT from class – I onwards. Three language system ( Telugu, Hindi & English) is followed till 5th class, where basic skills are carefully taught to develop passion & interest on languages. Every text book is given annexures for practice session. Assessment on Speaking and Listening activities are aligned for all the languages in order to impart the original flavor of languages.

2. ICT blended Teaching and Assessment Methods
        Usage of Technology in all the subjects for Audio-Visuals, Story Methods, ASL Activities, Exploration and Research, Group Discussions, Constructive Debates to make learning an enjoyable experience. Technological resources like digital white boards, projectors, robots (250 variables), computer lab enable the integration of digital multimedia content with the text books material in the teaching-learning process across all classes. Online Examination conducted by CBSE (curricular and co-curricular) and its certification process motivates our children with their continuous participation.

3. Learning Curve Ascending from known to unknown
          We strongly believe that, Learning intensifies if it ascends from Concrete to abstract. Concrete concepts are taught through hands on experiences (practical) or demonstrations, there by application of concept becomes easier. An activity based experiential learning approach has been adopted to stimulate the development of multiple intelligences, inherent in each child.

4. Competency Based Assessment System

            Our Competency Based Education with clearly defined learning outcomes, flexibility of time frame to achieve learning outcomes, usage of multiple pedagogies ensures the aimed learning objectives is our key ingredient.
 5. Excellent Supporting Infrastructure
                The infrastructure has been carefully designed to enable the Teaching-learning processes. Children move to the labs periodically making our teaching – learning dynamic and enthusiastic.
